We are a Montessori inspired learning community for homeschool families to connect and grow together.
The vision of SMMC is to create a caring space where kids and parents connect to nurture a love for learning and live life together. We aim to raise capable children with creative minds and compassionate hearts.
Our mission is to create a lively learning community rooted in Montessori principles, involving children in meaningful exploration and self-discovery, and incorporating education in mindful lifestyle practices to support brain development, life-balance, and emotional regulation. Through collaborative playgroups and drop-off opportunities, we empower children to think critically, respect themselves and others, and embrace their curiosity and potential. We empower parents by fostering a supportive community where each person feels safe and capable, is cherished, encouraged, and inspired to be a lifelong learner and compassionate person in the community.
What we offer
Montessori Play Group
Come along with your child for the 2-hour session and learn alongside them how to apply Montessori principles at home so your family can benefit from this approach 24/7.
A drop-off community offered for children to learn, connect with friends, and explore in an environment with a Montessori approach.
Learning Community
Music & Sound
Piano and guitar lessons to develop musical skills.
Sound Therapy sessions within community to help with behavior and emotional regulation, while teaching mindful practices to incorporate at home

Our Guides
We refer to our learning community teachers as guides because they do more than just teach. Montessori guides do not stand at the front of the classroom reciting facts to the entire group of students. Instead, they migrate around the classroom, observing and interacting with students individually. They create the learning environment, help children discover their strengths, establish trust, and serve as a role model.
